Today's topic was inspired by the late john Wooden who was the former coach of the record setting UCLA basketball team, winning 10 national championships in 12 years, making him the most decorated college basketball coaches of all times.
Make each day your master piece, was a one of the creeds past on to him by his father, Do the best you can. You can’t do anything about yesterday. The future depends on how you prepare yourself today.
So, what does this mean and how can we apply this to our day-to-day lives? How can we make each day our master piece?
We start today with a clean slate. And opportunity to start fresh, to get it right.
Today is really the only day that matters. You can’t make your past self do anything. You can’t make your future self do anything, either. Your only freedom of choice is right now, and thus today is your one chance to paint
What can you do to make a difference in someone's life today? Maybe even your own life?
1. Maybe ask someone if there's anything you can do to help or support them today?
2. How about, Reminding your partner and yourself that you appreciate them
3. Or Say thank you for the little things
4. Maybe having more patience with our children
5. How about holding our temper, some self control
Just a few suggestions but you think about it, look at your life?
You don't need to save the world but you do need to make a difference. Remember, each of us have a purpose.
Every single day, we’re making an impact on the people around us. The people we love. The people we merely like. The people we will never directly know. Even on ourselves.
What are you going to do today to make it your masterpiece?
